Sabashe by Sabah Khan is an unconventional label that derives its inspiration from the changing face of India. It has the vision of creating conceptual key pieces for the wardrobe which represent the energy and vibrancy of the country. The inspirations are unusual for this designer who translates them into eccentric and edgy garments.
Sabah Khan is a British Asian currently living in Mumbai which serves as her canvas and translates into her designs. A few of her popular collections include ‘No class’ inspired by Asia’s second largest slum – dharavi for which she also received a letter of appreciation from HRH Prince of Wales, tuk-tuk, and Darzi- a tribute.
Sabah’s work strongly includes the use of linens, quirky prints, color blocking and patchwork as her main design elements.
