Was born to Mahendra & Manju Sanghi in Mumbai, India and married to Nidhipati Singhania, when Vidhi Singhania shifted to Kotah, she and the eponymous fabric wove magic together. Her endeavour to revive an ancient art, better the lives of hundreds of families of weavers by keeping their looms busy through out the year, giving them design, colour, quality inputs and marketing facilities has made sure Kotah would not only stay alive but turn into a fabric of high fashion. Her success story lead her to the school of Varanasi & Chanderi and culminated into her state of the art flagship store at New Delhi.
Her flagship store at 28, Sunder Nagar Market, New Delhi, promises an exceptionally rare collection of lavish weaves, ensembles and accessories India’s rich treasure trove of textiles forms the backbone of her work and allows one to indulge in the journey of weaves with her intrinsic style stamp.
She is happy… that she has been able to make that little difference for the upliftment and protection of the Indian art of weaving.
