Bodice is a contemporary Indian fashion label that was founded in May 2011 by Ruchika Sachdeva, who studied Fashion Design and Technology at the London College of Fashion.
Bodice offers a fresh outlook on ensembles, for customers who require a refined option for everyday, versatile, premium wear. We strive to exhibit a novel and rational expression over luxury and we aspire to epitomize modern Made in India clothing, without being too literal.
The labels main markets are India, Japan, London, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Switzerland.
The Autumn/Winter16 collection explores the reinvention of classics through modern tailoring and the use of Indias indigenous textiles. Transitional wardrobe staples are developed through the pursuit of innovation, alongside a respect for the provenance of craft. This recognizable aesthetic explores ideas of modernity, which include an awareness of individual purpose and responsibility towards fair business practices.
