In my journey on the Indian textile I have chosen “MEKHLA” this time. It is known as mekhala chadar which is a traditional attire of Assam. The collection is a unique amalgamation of wool with mekhla, chanderi and muga silk. The silhouettes are inspired from the traditional drape of mekhla.
