Dolly has been an ardent painter and architect for most part of her professional career. It was just an incident where in she stumbled across some old embroidered pieces and textiles and immediately wanted to create something, using them as a backdrop to everyday life. Her forte is fusing techniques of printing and embroidery, supporting it with different materials of varied textures and playing with a particular color palette which she also finds extremely challenging and exciting.

“I have taken my last collections inspiration “Marie Antoinette” a little further and given it a more grandeur look. For Spring Summer SS-15 I have chosen to capture the fresh allure, energy and captivating colors of a paradise. The prominent use of French lace and subtle embroideries brings out a vibrant yet stylish and classic feel to the gowns. The gowns have been given a quirky edge by teeming them with short embroidered peplum jackets.”
