His creations are fresh and contemporary yet have an old world charm, inspired by the rich cultural heritage of India and the artistry of our craftsmen.n nSahil graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in 2006, his graduating collection won him the award for the Most Creative Collection and was also honored with an award for Best Academic performance during the program.n nAfter his graduation he started working with one of the Indias greatest designers Rohit Bal, where he handled design for over 6 years. In fact it is with the support and encouragement of Rohit Bal, that he started his own label in 2013.n nThe labels vision is to cater to a global audience by creating a combination of all things that are essentially Indian yet bringing them up to speed with all the modern trends. “We strive to empower Indian crafts by making them globally viable and sustainable. It is our constant endeavor to shed much needed light on Indias infinite unsung and mystical treasures and rejuvenate Indias traditional arts and crafts to establish a lasting legacy through its modern interpretations.”n nSahil Kochhar has garnered huge appreciation for his consecutive successful shows and is currently retailing from several stores all over the country, Ensemble, Aza, Pitaraah and Anantam to name a few.
