Prism
The Logitech × Saaksha & Kinni collaboration at FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week brings forth ‘Prism’ – a collection that celebrates and unites stvle and technology with regard to geometry, colour and mirrors. It is an amalgamation of the idea that anyone, anywhere, can work comfortably, productively and in style!
Our inspiration for prints this season lies in colourful tie and dye, geometrical lines, and abstract flowers. All representation of our favourite states – Gujarat and Rajasthan. The colours are an extension of those used in Logitech’s Studio Series which include purples, pinks and yellows.
The intricate hand embroidery used in the collection consists of mirror work, thread work, tassels and metals. It was important for us to incorporate mirrors and metals in particular – an ode to the sleek finishing of Logitech products and their attention to minute detailing.
Our signature hand micro pleating plays a significant role in both the womenswear and menswear this season. It has been used across multiple silhouettes including dresses, skirts and jackets to create movement and weight.
This season we used a variety of fabrics. Lightweight chiffons, hand woven cottons and satins off set by heavier denim and drill. Layering of silhouettes being a key element, it was important to incorporate different weights to be able to play around with the layers whilst retaining the delicacy of any given look.
A recurring theme that runs through the collection is youthfulness, experimentation and boldness. This collaboration is a celebration of an adjusting hybrid future of work – to making ‘work from anywhere’ stylish, fun and productive!
