VAN HEUSEN INDIA MENS WEEK 2011

New Delhi, August 20, 2011: Celebrating the third edition of India’s only men’s fashion fete – Van Heusen India Mens Week, FDCI announced the participating designers for the VHIMW 2011. Van Heusen India Mens Week, the fourth focused event in the world exclusively for men’s fashion has in its three years given impetus to the men’s fashion business. This year the event will see India’s 17 leading designers congregate in New Delhi from September 2-4 for the third edition of Van Heusen Indian Mens Week.

The event opens with Arjun Khanna returning to the capital after a 5-year hiatus. Celebrated couturier Tarun Tahiliani makes his debut presence at the event this year on the opening night on September 2. Abhishek Gupta, Abraham & Thakore, Anky by Ankita & Anjana Bhargav, Ashish N Soni, Karan Johar + Varun Bahl, Krishna Mehta, Maniviraj Khosla, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rajvi Mohan, Rohit & Abhishek, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Sanchita, Shantanu & Nikhil, Troy Costa & Zubair Kirmani are the designers on the runway roster to present their 2011-12 collection at the three day event.

Interestingly this VHIMW also sees an increased participation of women designers doing menswear including Anjana Bhargav, Sanchita Ajjampur, Krishna Mehta and Rajvi Mohan.

Van Heusen continues its association with the event as the title sponsors, reaffirming its support in this event produced by the FDCI. This three-day fashion event will have Kingfisher Ultra by United Breweries, Men’s Health Magazine and Signature brand from United Spirits, as the key event sponsors along with The Grand, New Delhi as the official venue partner for the Van Heusen India Mens Week.
