Rajdeep Ranawat the label was founded in 2004 inspired by the designers many travels as a child. He found his career calling at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi and went on to further hone his design skills with some years of experience at fashion houses in Paris and New York. The label has been inspired by his many travels as a child resulting in a fusion of different cultures that is a depiction of his experience in art, nature and sensibilities in combinations of colour. Creating apparel that is best described as art to wear the label strives to incorporate elegance, class, and originality to practical designs.
At Rajdeep Ranawat, Indian artisan skills and techniques are utilized to produce fine embroidered, sequinned, beaded motifs and designs. Further, original digital prints on generic western silhouettes create a novel blend. Today, with a well-established brand that is available in over 50 stores around the world the brand is one of Indias leading fashion designer known for his vibrant colours, unique and artistic prints and intricate realistic embroideries that create a signature style.
