After studying at NIFT for two years, Tahera worked with an atelier in Bangalore called Thai Designs, where she trained hands on and developed her pattern making and cutting skills. She has also interned with the design house Lecoanet-Hemant. She launched her eponymous line in December 2007. Her USP is perfectly chic and modest party dresses with Taheras signature brand of romantic modernity. She takes her inspiration from chic, urban women who own their style and are not swayed by fleeting trends.
She creates fashion that enhances individuality. The clothes are eclectic, with a strong focus on fusing creativity with function and comfort with quality. She excels in clean, sleek tailoring and intricate cuts; clothes that reflect character and personality.
