With a passion for clothes and exposure to international trends at an early age, Nalandda Bhandari was charting her career in other areas. Armed with a BA in Psychology, she soon embraced the hospitality industry. But life came a full circle and she knew she would have to return to her passion sooner or later. After the success of her creations at Ensemble (Mumbai) under their in-house label, in a couple of months Nalandda was soon retailing from the high end boutiques all over the country.Feminine, free spirited and confident Nalandda Bhandari creations encapsulate all that a woman is: sexy, sensual and with a mind of her own. The line plays around strong silhouettes, international trends and a very distinct personality. Well heeled, articulate and comfortable in her skin, this woman steers towards graceful, romantic and avant garde creations. With emphasis on quality, cut and finish complimenting the woman. The label houses a fully functional workshop in Mumbai and the under the expert guidance of Nalandda, the line has established a patronage from among the crème de la crème of society.
Dressing up the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Sunny Leone, Bruna Abdullah, Gauahar Khan, Kim Sharma, Lisa Ray, Lisa Hayden, Tapsee Pannu, Adah Sharma, Mouni Roy, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora Khan and many more. Nalandda finds her inspiration from travel, realism and designers like Mathew Willamson, Alessandrao DellAcqua and Blumarine, to name a few. Currently the brand retails out of Amara (Mumbai), Hot Pink by Marie Helene ( Jaipur, Jodhpur), Ogaan (Mumbai, Delhi), Baidehi (Delhi) and exports to Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Paris and Greece.
