She is a founder designer of Rinku Sobti Fashions Pvt. Ltd. a company she started 12 years back. She started her career with a London-based designer. Later she worked with an export house and eventually graduated to having her own flagship store in South Delhi, in 1995.
She creates couture, diffusion, prêt-a-porter ensembles for women, which are Indian in their sensibility, yet international in their appeal. The combination of mature silhouettes and colors is the specialty that defines the symbols of her work. Her work is constantly evolving within an aesthetic which is sophisticated both in eastern and western sense.
