Long before she became a fashion designer, Divya trained in the classical dance form of Kathak. The fluidity of movement and joy of expression that she learnt in those years continue to influence her unique design aesthetic to this day. Inspired in equal measure by Indias vast heritage of textiles and everything else, Divyas designs evoke femininity that celebrates every era. After finishing her training at the prestigious NIFT Delhi followed by a Masters Degree from London College of Fashion and then working with some of Indias top designers, Divya Sahaya Aggarwal launched her own label Petticoat Lane in 2015. The label reinvents Indian wear by imbuing the traditional with modern silhouettes and minimalistic, chic design elements.
