Senior Retail Merchandiser

Experienced merchandiser with a minimum of 5 – 7 years experience in a fashion design house (not export or buying house), preferably one that offers both Indian/ethnic and contemporary western clothing.

The candidate must have strong leadership abilities and be an effective communicator.

We are looking for somebody self-motivated. Strong managerial skills

Responsibilities include:

• Must have experience with EBOs and India’s leading MBOs
• Managing a team of EBO and MBO merchandisers.
• Generating purchase orders
• Travelling within India for trunk shows / promotions.
• Working closely with design team to provide guidance on seasonal collections.
• Responsibility for costing of collections.
• Coordinating with production department to insure that PO’s are produced on time.
• Strong Excel Skills are required.
