Skills Required :
- A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field from a recognised institute.
- 5–7 years of experience as a CAD Designer in the fashion or apparel industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other design tools.
- Strong understanding of digital print designing, garment construction, patterns, and fabric detailing.
- Ability to create accurate digital flats, technical drawings, and print layouts.
- Knowledge of color theory, repeat patterns, and textile design techniques.
- Experience in preparing tech packs and design specifications for production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain design consistency.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented CAD Designer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in the fashion industry, preferably in women’s western wear. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in digital print design, an eye for color and pattern, and a solid understanding of garment construction.
In this role, you will support the design team by creating digital sketches, prints, and technical drawings, while ensuring accuracy and alignment with the brand’s aesthetic. You will work closely with designers, sampling teams, and production units to translate concepts into precise digital formats ready for execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed CAD sketches, digital flats, and technical drawings for garments.
- Develop primarily print designs, and also embroidery layouts, and surface patterns as per design briefs.
- Convert hand-drawn sketches and concepts into digital formats.
- Prepare and maintain tech packs with accurate specifications for production.
- Work closely with designers to interpret mood boards and design directions.
- Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Update and manage design libraries, artwork files, and swatches.
- Ensure proper color matching and consistency across digital and physical samples.
- Assist in fabric and trim detailing presentations using CAD tools.
- Support in creating presentations for collections, lookbooks, and client approvals.

- Experience working with fashion brands, export houses, or in-house design teams.
