Nature-inspired collection Anand Kabras showcase this season is all about earthy tones and voluminous silhouettes. Flora and fauna played an important role in the collection with lotus leaf, lotus flower and rippled reed prints dominating the entire collection.
Nature-friendly colours such as aqua blue, leaf and moss green, rusty orange, raw white and black were used to bring the idea to light the collection implies cleansing your mind, body and soul of all its impurities.
In that sense, the collection is easy, controlled and austere. The fabrics used were heavy cotton, slub silk, organza, chiffon, coated wool and angora blends each telling a story, building a free flowing silhouette and making the entire look simple. Zardosi cutwork, lace, dori work and beading embellished the ensembles and made sure that the Kabra signature was present in all of them.
High collars and tassles complimented the collection while the statement jewellery with chokers and cuffs gave that fierce edge. The showstopper is a beautiful white sharara paired with a velvet jacket embellished with zardosi embroidery this brought out the true meaning of the collection purity and divinity.
The shoes by Aka Bespoke and jewellery by Eina Ahluwalia added the perfect finishing touch to the collection. A very wearable collection where transparency and luminosity liberated the Indian womans silhouette.
