What happens when you mix tangerine, purple, neon and pink with lots of gold? Easy! You get a Manish Arora outfit. Indian by Manish was an attempt to court the burgeoning bridal or occasion wear market by the maestro, who is known for his edgy, quirky style. So there was a grand set, with two elephant cutouts to welcome you; gravity defying matkas; his misty blue clouds; and in this medley there were also swans wearing maang tikkas.
Punjabi by Nature
After a hiatus Ritu Beri was back at the Delhi Couture Week with an impressive front row—from BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, Vani Tripathi, Shashi Tharoor and wife Sunanda Pushkar, to Gunnu and Ranjan Bhattacharya, adman Suhel Seth to legal eagle Raian Karanjawala. The Bijli brothers Sanjeev, Selena and Ajay along with Niamat Bakshi added glamour on the second last day of the DCW.

Rome can be built in a day! Quite literally .as each day of the PCJ Couture Week will see grand sets being build and torn down to be resurrected again for the next day in less than 24 hours. 700 workmen are working round-the-clock for the last week to get the show on the road. Unlike the WIFW prêt shows, where you construct one set and it lasts for 5 days with minor modifications until the grand finale, this time it is a paradigm shift.
