• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Fashion Design from a reputed institution.

• Lead the end-to-end design process for western wear, with emphasis on evening gowns, draped silhouettes, and structured occasionwear.
• Develop seasonal collections and capsule ranges in alignment with the brand’s identity and commercial strategy.
• Execute draping techniques on mannequins to visualize form, fit, and fabric flow, with a strong emphasis on innovation and elegance.
• Conduct research for trends, fabrics, color palettes, and trims suited to our target market.
• Collaborate with the in-house sampling team for pattern development, prototyping, and fitting.
• Attend and lead fittings, provide technical feedback, and ensure the design intent is preserved through development stages.
• Work closely with production and merchandising to ensure timelines and cost targets are met.
• Provide creative inputs for styling, campaign shoots, and lookbooks.
• Maintain organized design records, tech packs, and fabric boards for archival and reference.

• Prior experience in an in-house brand (as opposed to freelance/export houses).
• Strong appreciation for craftsmanship, surface work, and luxe finishes.
• Experience working on custom/bespoke orders and adapting designs based on client feedback.
• Interest in the end-to-end journey of the product, from moodboard to retail floor.

• 6–7 years of experience in a designer or junior designer role, specifically in western wear.
• Strong skills in draping, garment construction, and fashion sketching (digital and manual).
• Ability to develop original and wearable designs with attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating with in-house teams including pattern makers, tailors, and stylists.
• A well-rounded portfolio with examples of eveningwear and contemporary western silhouettes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Junior Fashion Designer with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in designing Women’s western wear, especially evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and occasionwear, to join our in-house design team. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual abilities, a keen eye for detailing, and a sound understanding of draping and garment construction.

In this role, you will assist the senior design team in the creation of collections, take ownership of assigned categories, and work collaboratively across departments to bring designs from idea to finished product.

• Assist in designing and developing seasonal and capsule collections for western wear, with a focus on evening gowns and statement pieces.
• Translate design briefs and moodboards into sketches, drapes, and tech packs.
• Support in the draping and toile-making process to develop new shapes and silhouettes.
• Collaborate with the sampling unit for fit trials and refine garments based on feedback from fittings.
• Research fabrics, trims, color palettes, and embellishment trends aligned with the brand aesthetic.
• Ensure design files, swatch cards, and references are updated and well-organized.
• Prepare spec sheets and coordinate with pattern makers and tailors for sample execution.
• Participate in team discussions on fabric sourcing, styling for shoots, and collection planning.
• Coordinate with the merchandising and production teams on sampling timelines and technical accuracy.
• Ensure all deliverables align with brand quality standards and market positioning.

• Experience working with boutique or mid-sized in-house fashion brands.
• Exposure to custom or semi-bespoke production processes.
• Interest in global fashion trends and material experimentation.
• Strong understanding of fabric fall, flow, and draping behavior on body forms.
