Varun Bahl is looking for a highly creative Senior Fashion Designer to join the couture team and contribute to the evolution of the brand’s signature artistry.
This role is ideal for a designer with a strong understanding of Indian couture craftsmanship, embroidery, textiles, and bridal design, combined with a refined global aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop couture collections aligned with the brand vision
- Work closely with the Creative Director on seasonal concepts and silhouettes
- Lead research across textiles, colours, embroidery and surface development
- Coordinate with karigars, sampling teams and ateliers for execution
- Oversee fittings, garment development and final finishing
- Ensure couture quality standards across all pieces
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in luxury couture design and bridal
- Strong knowledge of Indian embroidery and couture techniques
- Excellent sketching and concept development skills
- Experience managing sampling and production teams
- Deep passion for luxury fashion and craftsmanship
