This role requires a designer who understands contemporary luxury ready-to-wear, global fashion sensibilities, and how to translate the Varun Bahl aesthetic into a modern wardrobe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design seasonal collections for the modern prêt line
- Develop silhouettes, prints and textile stories each season
- Translate runway inspiration into commercially viable collections
- Work closely with the production and merchandising teams
- Research global trends and evolving consumer aesthetics
- Ensure the line reflects the brand’s signature elegance with a modern edge
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in luxury or contemporary RTW design
- Strong understanding of modern silhouettes and international fashion trends
- Experience in print development and fabric sourcing
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial thinking
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
