A Night of Love and Legacy: Fashion Fraternity Pays a Heartfelt Tribute to Rohit Bal
An evening filled with love, nostalgia, and deep emotion unfolded at the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour powered by FDCI, as the fashion fraternity came together to honor the legendary Rohit Bal—affectionately known as Gudda. A founding member of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and a true visionary, he was more than just a designer; he was an artist, a storyteller, and an icon who shaped the very fabric of Indian fashion.
On this special night, his closest friends, family, and colleagues gathered, dressed in pieces from his collections—designs they had treasured over the years, each carrying a story, a moment, a memory of Gudda. The air was thick with emotion as live music and an enchanting dance performance brought his artistic spirit to life.
Honouring their cherished bond with him, several personalities from the entertainment industry walked the ramp, including Esha Gupta, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rahul Dev, Mugdha Godse, Mozez Singh, and others. In a fitting tribute to his grandeur, Sonam Kapoor closed the show, embodying the elegance and legacy he leaves behind.
As the night unfolded, larger-than-life images of Gudda illuminated the main show area, reminding everyone that though he may no longer be physically present, his essence, his art, and his spirit will forever be woven into Indian fashion.
This was more than just a tribute—it was a celebration of a life that touched so many, of a legacy that will continue to inspire for generations to come. Gudda may be gone, but his magic will never fade.
