About the event

Cutting across geographic and cultural barriers, the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW), Asia’s biggest business of fashion event will yet again showcase the best impulses of the fashion industry offering five enthralling days of inspiration, inventiveness and imagination aligned with prolific business opportunities.

Featuring the magnificent creations of some of the most admired and esteemed designers in the country today, WIFW AW ‘11will bring a diversity of talent on the runway that are multicultural with great commercial appeal all under one roof at Hall No. 18, India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

With an objective to encourage and endorse designers to grow their brands nationally and internationally as also to widen their customer base every year, WIFW allows fashion designers to showcase their collection to domestic and international buyers, media and design schools. Most importantly, it lets the industry know what’s ‘in’ and what’s ‘out’ for the coming season.

An assortment of designers have woven Indian crafts and traditional pattern to urban design, even as models, choreographers, make-up artists have worked in congruence towards marketing fashion and transforming the runway into a power packed marketplace.

Over the years, WIFW has turned the spotlight on fresh talent and encouraged them with the strategic objective of identifying India’s top new and emerging designers so as to promote and support them grow their brands locally and internationally whilst developing strong links with the wider manufacturing and retail industries.

As always, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the capital, WIFW A/W 2011, brings you the best, brightest & biggest in Indian fashion. The ultimate destination where business meets absolute fashion!
