Debarun Mukherjee

Kolkata-based designer Debarun Mukherjee has been associated with the Indian fashion industry for a long time. Trained in the London College of Fashion with a decade old eponymous label with numerous outings at the fashion weeks “Debarun” is an established name in the luxury pret & Bridal wear category.

He launched his couture and bridal line which extends the brand philosophy into the more exquisite and the more intricate. The label, firmly believes in the classical school of thought which embodies the belief that certain fashion elements are eternal and beyond the vagaries of time and fad.  Based out of Kolkata, a city known for its classical heritage and craftsmanship and has been associated with some of the leading textile design studios in London, Paris and Milan.

Debarun as a brand is deep rooted in the philosophy that classics are forever. Some style statements weather the test of time and remain a part of our lives even though the world around them changes. One can only discover the classics for they were never lost in the first place (just a little forgotten maybe). Debarun is about – classics discovered, rediscovered.
