The duo use western pattern making principles to re-create traditional Indian silhouettes. Both Paras and Shalini love to fashion unique styles with an emphasis on silhouettes and delicate embroidery to create a distinctive old-world romantic look. Creative and unconventional use of traditional materials like beads, sequins and thread take a 3- dimensional form to craft striking textures and motifs that are vibrant and bold in nature. Emphasis is laid on hand detailing and seam finishes to make the garment beautiful inside out.

This new way of looking at Indian fashion, the passion for design in combination with precision in details gave immediate success to the brand. Paras and Shalini are both graduates of National Institute of Fashion Technology ( NIFT, New Delhi) and have won many awards and distinctions academically and professionally. Shalini has also done a course at FIT, New York and is qualified Doctor (MBBS). Shalini is dexterous with techniques and detail while Paras brims with creative exuberance.
