Design and Innovation Academy was established in 2005 by UNISON EDUCATIONAL group with the vision of nurturing and training design professionals with the right caliber, expertise, attitude and thinking. Facilitating design education with a difference, IMS DIA offers Degree & Diploma courses in Fashion, Interior, Communication, Jewellery, Accessory Design and Fine Arts.
Established with the aim of fostering design education revolution in India. IMS DIA has been unique from the start. It is the first academy to have its own production house and retail showroom. It has team of dedicated faculty from the countrys premier institutions such as NID, NIFT, Delhi School of Art among others.
IMS DIA has worked hard and long to create a student friendly education system. This has matured to focus on innovative learning where the curriculum is carefully crafted and executed to provide a holistic design education. There is continuous mentoring by industry professionals. IMS DIA follows on industry recognized and contemporary course curriculum and provides 100% placement assistance to our students. The courses provide international exposure to commercial, retail and industrial centers of the world along with linkages with various international institutes and universities.
It is one of the very few design colleges to award dual certifications, a bachelors degree recognized by UGC and a diploma awarded by IMS DIA.
IMS DIA encourages students to look beyond class-room tutoring to participate in competitions, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, events, conferences, research projects and student exchange programs. Master classes by industry experts, exposure to market trade fairs and industry are organized to broaden the students horizons. The academy has set up the Million Dollar idea Club, an initiative to encourage start up ideas motivate and provide support to pursue the students entrepreneurial ambitions.

Mr.Rajeev Kumar Gupta is the President of IMS DIA and he has entered into the field of education in 1998 with the establishment of Institute of Management Studies, Noida and also he carries the prestigious position of being ” The President” of Institute of Management Studies, Noida and IMS Law College, Noida. His determination, verve and fire to impart diversified education can be assessed by the growth rate of his institute. He believes in theoretical knowledge supplemented by practical learning from identify fractious. Mr.Rajeev Kumar Gupta is having Institutional Membership of NAFSA USA, AIEA USA and EAIE Europe.
Mrs. Shilpi Gupta is the Managing Director of IMS-DIA and she is a born dreamer. A flair for creativity and panache for style, a fashionista was born in the family of a businessman. With a degree from University of Central Lancashire, UK, she is an epitome of style and fashion. Her passion for fashion is unwavering, and her commitment, unquestionable, her plans are in place too. Innovation in style is what she believes drives her creations and gives it the status it enjoys today. Her goal is to produce design gurus and innovators, inculcating the ability in our students to create their own success stories in future is what our main purpose is. She is an established Designer. She has launched her own Brand “SHILPI GUPTA” under the company Shilpi Raj Clothings Private Limited.

With the world becoming a global village the paradigm of excellence has got a new shift. DIA recognizes the importance of academic collaboration with business schools of other continents for global exposure.
