Jayanti’s signature purple makes its presence felt on all her mood boards. The designer works with her signature silhouettes, striking a balance between structure and fluidity and creating more options in terms of bridal separates, which can be easily mixed and matched depending on one’s mood and occasion. Besides her richly detailed and meticulously handcrafted couture pieces, Jayanti also ventures into the luxury pret category by offering easy breezy pieces apt for pre and post-wedding bashes and also for other ceremonial outings. Having worked with weavers from Varanasi, she creates a perfect juxtaposition of traditional banarasi textiles and hand – embroidered zardozi work creates a unique identity brand. Jayanti Reddy outfits are an aspiration for the modern bride – who harbours a global perspective and is yet rooted in her traditional ethos.
