Celebrated designer, Lina Tipnis and her label Linarika, known for bespoke clothing and prêt lines, has carved a niche in the fashion arena over the last two decades. Lina is the only Indian designer to have designed for Queen Rania of Jordon. She is the recipient of the most prestigious Indira Gandhi young achievers award and very recently the Lions Gold International Award for the Designer of the Year.
Besides successfully retailing through 30 stores in India, Europe & Middle East, she was also involved in setting up Raymonds designer prêt stores. She is one of the very few Indian designers to showcase at CPD-Dusseldorf and had an exclusive showing of clothing fused with Indian art at the Katonah Museum in New York.
Besides designing high end luxury clothing, she has also created and executed a complete design solution for Nissan Motors. She launched a line of bespoke clothing for men and women and has dressed Bollywood, politicians and industrialists.
Her latest endeavour is Stylelogue Academy, a project very close to her heart. This platform has various training programs curated by her daughter, Niharika to help bring about a transformation in the space of fashion academics, styling and lifestyle retail, individual grooming and corporate coaching in areas of personality development, leadership and team building. Her love for royalty and luxury has prompted her to create a program called the Art of Appreciation for a select discerning audience.
