Nupur Kanoi

Nupur Kanoi, a fashion design graduate from NIFT, Kolkata, worked as a fashion stylist and writer with luxury lifestyle magazine Verve, post which she ventured into her own eponymous label in 2006, and is available in leading multi-designer stores such as Ogaan, Aza, Carma, Collage, Azra since.

In March 2012, she made her national runway debut at Lakme Fashion Week. Her designs have been endorsed by celebrities, such as Alia Bhatt, Aishwariya Rai, SonamKapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Freida Pinto, Shilpa Shetty, Sara Ali Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Chitrangada Singh, to name a few.

Her work is experimental, multi-dimensional and highly detailed for which she has won many accolades such as “The GraziaYoung Fashion Awards” in 2013 for “Indie-Cool”, “The Next Big Thing ” in a poll conducted by MissMalini.com in July 2012, and was featured as “The Top Crop Of This Year’s Finest” in the October 2012 issue of Elle. She was featured in the article “The Year of the Young Designer” in Harper’s Bazaar in 2013. Her recent collection “Protea” showcased at LKFW18 followed by her resort wear collection “Crucero” which did tremendously well with the fashion aficionados.

Her collections have been showcased around the world in various countries. A versatile designer who is inspired by her travels, launched her flagship store in Kolkata in 2018, which resonates the vibe of the brand.
