Rahul studied at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. He worked for designers Rohit Bal, Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla in Delhi and Mumbai. He later went on to freelance and thus design wardrobes for the finest of the film fraternity like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and many others. He was also the entrusted stylist for the likes of Zayed Khan and Manoj Bajpayee.
