Radha is a Fashion, Luxury and Intellectual property attorney with over a decade of legal experience. She obtained a bachelors degree in law from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and then pursued a masters degree of law at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA where she studied intellectual property and entertainment law including legal issues in the television industry. She is also a trained fashion lawyer with her second level masters in fashion law from Luiss Guido Carli, Rome, Italy. She has been trained by counsel of renowned Italian and French fashion houses and is qualified to address legal issues faced by the fashion industry with regard to brand protection, overall intellectual property protection, corporate transactions and governance, data privacy, advertisement concerns, alternate dispute resolution, issues in the supply chain amongst others.
She joined Remfry & Sagar, a leading Law Firm specialising in Intellectual Property and Corporate transactions, in 2012 and has worked extensively with the Firms practice. She has strong advisory skills in overall brand strategy and protection. She is also a legal researcher at The Thinking Watermill Society, a non-profit organisation based in Rome, Italy, promoting exchange of ideas regarding changes in the economic, cultural and social landscape and opportunities surrounding the same. Radha is also on the editorial board of the The Fashion Law Journal, which provides insights in the field of fashion law and acts as a professional network for the fashion community. Radha is also an EU-GDPR Certified Data Protection Professional.
