Designer Namrata Joshipura To Present A Futuristic Collection As Part Of The ‘Fdci Showcase’

~The presentation to take place on Day 3 of the upcoming edition of Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI~

National 3rd March 2023: The Fashion Design Council of India today announced a unique showcase with celebrated contemporary designer, Namrata Joshipura. The presentation will hit the runway as the FDCI Showcase of the season, on day three of Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI being held between 9th – 12th March, in Mumbai. With a global aesthetic combined with modern interpretations of artisanal embellishments, Namrata Joshipura has accumulated a renowned status in the fashion industry across the world. The collection set to be presented will be Namrata’s take on evolution reflected through fashion.

Using modern fabrics and sparkles, Namrata gives a nod to disco elegance in this upcoming collection that will feature cut-outs and dramatic drapes with a twist to add fin-de-siecle’ (end of century) celebration vibe to the pieces, alluding to a futuristic vibe. Inspired by technology and evolution, the collection to sport pieces such as jumpsuits, bodysuits and signature Namrata Joshipura draped dresses – clingy and cut sharp as a mark of celebration of the body and its sheer beauty. In addition, the collection to also feature cropped and classic blazers, paired with body suits and dresses with a color palette comprising cerulean blues, forest greens and a saturated classic red while black takes a backseat in this revolutionary and advance collection of artworks.
