FDCI announces its list of designers participating at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2012

138 designers to showcase their creations at WIFW 2012

New Delhi, January 27, 2012: The Fashion Design Council of India today announced the scintillating list of runway and stall designers who would be showcasing at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2012. Asia’s biggest fashion event will kick off on Wednesday, February 15^th with 138 designers featuring splendid creations. The five-day fashion event from February 15-19, 2012 at Hall no. 18 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will bring loads of creativity and business along with the unsurpassed talent on the ramp.

FDCI, having successfully established itself as an esteemed launch pad for promoting young talent, the WIFW Autumn-Winter 2012 will have 14 new runway and stall designers showcasing their creation.

Announcing the names of participating designers, Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, said, “This year we have a list of outstanding designers with representation across geographies who will display their creative excellence on the runway. With combined elements of innovation, creativity and tradition of the WIFW, these designers will give a fresh perspective to the Autumn-Winter collection. With so many talented designers in India’s fashion industry; we are hopeful that this edition will also break all records like the past season.
