New Delhi, March 03, 2016: Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the apex body of fashion in India, announced the show schedule and list of designers for the 27th edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2016 in association with Maybelline New York. This year, 101 designers showcasing through runway and exhibition, from all over the country, will add unrestrained glamour in an extravaganza, which comprises 30 splendid shows with 45 designers on the ramp at the AIFW AW16. The five-day event will be held from March 16-20 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road.
Announcing the schedule, Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “As the latest edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016 is set to begin, we are delighted to announce the schedule of the best talent pool, who with their inventive ideas will make it a riveting ride.”
The Amazon India Fashion Week is a frontrunner in trend forecasting and provides lucrative opportunities to a sea of professionals from myriad fields–from makeup artists, choreographers, hairstylists to set designers and getting coveted buyers from all over the country and internationally, the FDCI has helped the industry grow by leaps and bounds.
Commenting on the occasion, Susan Saideman, V.P.
