FDCI’s India Men’s Weekend Presented by Chivas Luxe Perfumes Concludes at Diggi Palace, Jaipur Jaipur, February 16, 2025:
The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) successfully concluded the India Men’s Weekend presented by Chivas Luxe Perfumes at Diggi Palace, Jaipur. The two-day showcase on February 15 and 16 brought together 26 established and emerging designers, redefining the landscape of Indian menswear with experimental silhouettes, innovative tailoring, and fresh design narratives. The event saw the debut of four women designers—Mandira Wirk, Nirmooha, Mahima Mahajan, and Nikita Mhaisalkar—presenting their first menswear collections under the FDCI platform.
Their showcases added a unique dimension, proving that menswear in India is evolving beyond traditional boundaries. The finale unfolded with Ashish N Soni and Rajesh Pratap Singh, two of India’s most respected menswear designers. Rajesh Pratap Singh’s show was a high-energy spectacle, deeply rooted in Jaipur’s cultural legacy.
Inspired by the city’s royal families and their deep connection with motorbikes, the show was an ode to this iconic lifestyle, blending heritage with contemporary masculinity. The main show area transformed into an experiential space, featuring 14 Royal Enfield motorcycles and bikers riding around the venue, adding to the collection’s rugged, powerful, and masculine appeal. The designs remained true to Rajesh Pratap Singh’s signature aesthetic—structured silhouettes in a monochrome palette of black and white. Enhancing the spectacle was a specially recorded soundtrack, created exclusively for this show, making it an unforgettable closing act for India Men’s Weekend.
Apart from the finale, the weekend saw standout showcases by Khanijo, Bloni, Countrymade, and Sahil Aneja, reinforcing the diversity and dynamism of contemporary Indian menswear. With live music, performances, and the grandeur of Diggi Palace as a backdrop, the event created a truly immersive experience. Jaipur’s cultural and fashion circles were in full attendance, alongside media from across the country, making it a landmark moment for menswear in India.
