Ruchika Sachdeva graduated from London college of Fashion and worked with prestigious design houses such as Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon and Nitin Bal Chauhan before launching her own label.
BODICE is a conceptual brand that promotes the expression of individuality through fine, hand-made tailored garments. Launched two years ago in New Delhi, Bodice continues to play with ideas of modernity, androgyny and timelessness while reinventing indigenous Indian materials, creating a niche for itself.
This unique formula has today produced a signature Bodice look, which is often marked by the integration of menswear and the reinvention of classic design. It also includes a hint of irony and a nod at the tongue in cheek.
