We continue living a censored life as we lose the right to humanity and the freedom to love as the way we want to love. It’s a criminal offence to explore oneself in the truest nature. Sex and sexuality is taboo where we are blinded by the word ‘culture’ . Ironically the same culture which has left its impression in literature and art and sculpture is now replaced by vandalism and rape.nThis collection is a voice to the caged love and the freedom of expression. We liberate ourselves from the mind and heart and celebrate life as God meant it to be.nColour and Print StorynMonochromes , surface embroideries, harsh geometric prints and few deliberately developed “unfinished” prints are interestingly mixed and layered to tell a story of forbidden love, that is broken yet determined in search for its freedomnThe look that’s severe, cold yet vulnerable with its softness.nThe indifference of the grey, and monochromes are warmly hugged by turquoise blue, cherry red, canary yellow, mint blue …nTextiles, textures and silhouettesnInterplay of softness of chiffon and georgette juxtaposed with severity of leather and the formality of the special fabric developed with metallic thread embroidery.nThe patterned prints of roses and scattered roses, the geometric monochromatic prints, of the female form incorporated, the disintegrated “LOVE” all comes together in unisonn The point of focus comes alive in the signature Dev r Nil prints and the cutworks and appliqué techniques used on leather and other fabric.
