Ekru is the joint venture of two aces, vibrant and passionate designers – EKTA JAIPURIA and RUCHIRA KANDHARI. Its specialty is in its own brand of trousseau line, which is diffusion wear. Experimenting with traditional embroidery forms and giving them a complete contemporary feel.
nIt’s basically into diffusion wear. It includes tunics, loose fit jackets, sarees, gowns, lehengas etc. It?s an amalgamation of traditional embroidery, prints, surface ornamentation with a contemporary taste.

nEkru SS’18 collection “VEIN” takes its inspiration from the life with the brute yet beautifully charged eco-system and tries to raise awareness to the crisis of global warming.
nThe dried foliage of falling leaves, the intricate detail seen is the concentric rings of a tree trunk or flowers burnt by the harsh sun rays, all set an inspiration for the collection.n
