For Spring Summer 2016 we bring a tribe of romantic rebels a mix of urban grit and romantic folk. Oversized loungewear is adorned with geometric chintz floral appliqued in denim and suede. Street-wear is elevated with leather-appliqued laces in softer hues.
This fall IKAI takes a journey through an illustrators notebook.The season embraces the hand-done pen and paper illustrations against a grid and stripe background. Cruise through original artworks of animals, portraits and autumn leaves. The minute details from the notebook along with the half done scribbles in a staid palette of paper brown, charcoal and black with wild ginger accent evoke nostalgia and warmth.
Fall 16-17 is defined by casual luxe – uniting formal wear and everyday wear – relaxed yet refined silhouettes with laid-back tailoring. Sculpted leather appliqué’ skirts and dresses underpin an oddly seductive look. The key pieces this season are the sculpted pencil skirts, dresses, boxy dresses cinched at the waist and maxi jackets.
