Jaya Rathore with her collections that dote on Indian art and craft has established herself to create attires that surpassed time and age. Her exploration and experiments with Indian weaving and traditional craftsmanship revitalized in modern outfits makes her work distinct. She has successfully participated in WIFW S/S 2010 and A/W 2010 and is retailing from Aza, Ensemble, Ogaan, Elahe and Elan.
Jaya has taken inspiration from jewels. To create the real jewel effect, plenty of
swarovski have been used. Motifs have been inspired from bouquet of roses where a profusion of petals, colors and textures are arranged to perfection, allowing everything to blossom to perfection. The hardest stones are used to express tenderness.
Some motifs are also inspired by Arabic influence, the carved Mughal emeralds and precious topaz. Peacock being a symbol of auspicious has been used as motif.
