Her traditional roots and fine sense of aesthetics formed the basic principles of her design. In 1996, she worked with one of the largest NGOs in the world, BRAC, Bangladesh on the revival of Nakshikantha which she showcased at the Miss World pageant in 1997 and reintroduced the legendary Dhaka Muslin, a gorgeous handmade fabric which had disappeared from India after partition.n nIn 2003 her collection took the Singapore Fashion week by storm. nHer label Projekt M(Estd. 2003) brings together innovators Madhu Jain and Milind Soman. Projekt M began with a tumultuously successful showing at the VIIth World Bamboo Congress which introduced the bamboo-based textile into India.
