Masaba – the label by Masaba Gupta was launched in July 2009. Masaba is a diffusion line catering to women from the age group of 25-50 years.n nThe silhouettes are no fuss, simple and commercially viable, yet of high cut and fashion. Dhotis, angarakhas, jumpsuits, ikat and silk saris, shift dresses are some of the silhouettes that define Masaba the label. The colors are vibrant with patchwork playing a predominant role in most of the garments.n nMasabas first collection Kattran debuted in 2010, for which she received INIFD Most Promising Designer Award. Recently she was awarded the Marie Claire award for the Best Emerging Designer.
