Our AW15 collection is titled “Boro-Part II” an extension of our past collection with the same name. It is about revisiting the Japanese term of “Boro” by exploring / recycling and upcycling fabric wastes and creating value out of left-overs. There are 3 stories as part of this collection: A classic natural dyed Indigo story of patchwork and quilting , a Khadi texture story and a print story exploring Bagh printing. The fabrics are artworks innovated at the loom-stage. A total of 4 different weaving clusters have been explored as part of this collection.” n n
