Priyadarshini Rao
Priyadarshini Rao, a textile enthusiast, has always made clothes which focus on the various weaving and printing techniques of India. She started her label in the year 1996, with a view to clothing the independent Global woman.
Her clothes have a whimsical note and are urban, with a slight bohemian edge.
She retails out in at least 15 coveted stores in India, as well as in Japan, Kuwait and Spain.
The AW13 collection sees a line of free spirited fusion clothing in varying fabrics from chiffons, to vegetable prints, moving on to tie dyes and Chanderi prints. Lengths have been kept long and emphasis is drawn on dresses & wide bottom pants.
