Designer Punit Balana found his namesake label 6 years ago in Jaipur. The brand has created a space in between; it is at once effortlessly statement, modestly extravagant, distinctively understated and progressively rooted.

With a focus on contrasting tones and colours, playful use of print pattern and shape, the brand creates a design language which always evolves and yet remains rooted in principles of comfort and wear-ability. A sensibility of fluidity and ease sets the brand apart. Movement and proportion are the core of the design philosophy. Each and every ensemble has been designed to be moved, danced and celebrated in. Brand Punit Balana’s aesthetic is a return to the fundamentals of material, print motif and embroidery, and yet a progression of form and silhouette.

As a designer, Punit is an idealist but doesn’t design for an idealized concept of a woman or man. His designs are a showcase of how he wants them to feel: joyful, confident and ready to make an impact. Through his intuitive approach to design, Punit focuses on creating a personal rapport (relationship) with each and every patron he styles.

The Punit Balana brand doesn’t define itself by being ethnic or tribal, couture or contemporary, rather by the purpose the clothes have. There are mini capsules released through the year of ready-to-wear, festive and around special occasions. The brand also is launching a menswear line.

Having showcased his collections at the prestigious Lakme Fashion Week for last three seasons, the brand is loved by celebrities and their stylist’s alike. Punit Balana’s collection has been adorned by the best of Bollywood beauties including Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Jhanvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Aditi Rao Haydri, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty and many more!! One of the chosen designer for styling Priyanka Chopra’s guests for her wedding, Punit’s designs are available at the best fashion boutiques including Aza, Ogaan, Ensemble, Elan, Aashni & co and others. His designs are the most preferred, at exhibitions like Dhoom dhaam wedding, Design one, Bridal Asia and others.
