Rina Dhaka is a fashion designer, who made a promising entry in the Indian fashion scene around late eighties, becoming the most creative and dynamic fashion designer India has ever witnessed. She won the Best Designer award at the Miami Fashion Week 2017 with the “best collection”. A recipient of the Yuva Ratan Award, she has represented India at major platforms around the world. Her designs are showcased at international fashion weeks and adorned by fashion icons like Naomi Campbell, Uma Thurman, to name a few. The collection showcases every womans love for jewellery, but on clothes. This season takes on strong metallics, mixing them together, blending and edging them with pearls. From dhoti to the sharara as a trouser, the designer has worked to refocus on the waist, shoulder and the hip. This show is also to support the girl child through the campaign.
