Samant Chauhan, a NIFT alumni, having won four major awards at his graduating show, made a mark with his first show at the Singapore Fashion Week with his collection for men and followed it with another collection named Kamasutra at India Fashion Week. Here he got the media and buyers very interested in his textiles and was invited to participate in the London Fashion Weeks, which he has been a part ever since. n nThe designers main markets are Middle East and India.n nThe Spring Summer 2016 inspiration comes from the first Rajput family the Katoch dynasty. The Kangra fort which traces its origins to the ancient Trigarta kingdom, is mentioned in the Mahabharata. The fort was first mentioned in Alexander the Greats war. Alexanders invasion of India had a great influence on Indian culture and tribes. The concept for Spring Summer 2016 is all about creating larger than life images of Indo-Greek influence lasted for several centuries throughout the Indian subcontinent for their coins, genetic pool, artistic legacy, intellectual and religious legacy.n nGarments beautifully draped with golden beads and zarzodi work with contrast red piping mixed beautifully with dull colored thread work. Embellished with metal trims and leather belt with contrast stitched bags.
