To Goa-based designer Saviojon, clothes are not just clothes. They are a coming together of colour, texture and the one odd detail. In his attempt to push the margins of fashion, Saviojon has created a style that is his own one of laid-back elegance, where shapes are manipulated, patterns are deconstructed, and colours defy a natural palette. n nThe process wasn’t very much different even at six years of age, when he saw wearability in grocery bags. At eleven years of age he learnt the basics of sewing from his mother.
