Luxury prét collection for women, inspired by ‘Peter Collingwood’s Macrogauze’ (woven textile pieces). Key words: delicate, layered, geometric, monochromatic & graphic. The collection is texture driven with base fabrics like silk organza, raw silk, novelty organza & novelty satin. Techniques used: ombre dyeing/sublimation printing, layers of digitally cut fabrics sewn together, fabric scraps heat fused onto fabric – creating geometric patterns, cut-word by hand, cotton cords – couched onto fabric and re-couched with silk threads to create irate-like textiles inspired by Peter Collingwood’s intricate patterns.
