A graduate in fashion from Esmod Intl , Paris (Ecole Superieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode), Urvashi has assisted fashion moguls like Marcel Marongiu, Lolita Lempika and Issey Miyake. Constant exposure to myriad influences and cultures through her travels has been a catalyst in developing a complex body of work that goes beyond fashion and draws inspiration in art & culture.
Urvashi has a fascination for different type of fabrics and colours and the constant experimentation with these serves as the genesis of her collections. Her prowess lies in presenting eclectic forms and innovative looks from separates through the use of layering. Unconventional drapes and rich textural treatments on fabrics is her forte.
Enthused to revive the country’s vibrant textiles, Urvashi infuses the realms of the ethnic with the contemporary, leading her to earn critical acclaim and an esteemed league of patrons for her label.
