Tailoring, that will always be the strength of Arjun Salujas collection and true to form, this time too, his Navy blue and earthy brown well tailored garments with innovative sleeves and power shoulders take centre stage at WIFW.
Rishta by Arjun Saluja takes structure to newer heights with precision tailoring and innovative silhouettes the sharper his cuts, the smarter his collection. Wrap Jackets with exquisite tailored finish, two-tone jackets, batik-print hoodies and jumpsuits give this collection a bold yet subtle feel. The collection this season has a good mix of jackets and power suits and Saluja plays up to his strengths but also brings to light, his newest endeavor his play with Indian fabrics that morph beautifully into structured pieces. The sequin embellished pants for eves and shoulder cut sleeves for adams are a delight.
His zippered colonial jackets and his silk palazzo pants are the new suit pants, and yet Saluja still retains the boyish charm in his ensembles the pleated baggy pants, the neon green printed shirts nad the collared maxi dresses still keep his strength for structure alive.
Our personal favourite is the green silk jacket worn with black tights that drives home the idea that simple and subtle silhouettes are the way to go this season.
